Yes the Grapes, Bear and Pheasant (friars terrace) and Coach and Horses are all run by the same personGoldilox said:No one has mentioned the Bear Grill. The Bear & Pheasant is owned by Eddie who has the Grapes and the Coach and Horses.57mph said:They're not all ran by the same people, where did you get that information from.Goldilox said:Well they're all owned by the same people, so it would make sense if the money ran dry, they'd all go.
Regarding The Bear Grill, Chris Lewis will put us straight on that one if he has time to pop on the Forum and this thread inparticular.
Where does my information come from? I've played gigs for him in the Bear & Pheasant and the Grapes, and seen it first hand.
This also includes the Coach and HorsesVamprysca said:

We would like to announce that we will be closed for a very short period of time due to unforeseen circumstances. We anticipate business as usual from early next week.
We would like to also thank our loyally customers & staff for their kind wishes and hope to see you again very soon !

I don't think it's fair to speculate - we don't know the circumstances for all we know it could be a family crisis. We should just wish them well and hope they do re-open and poor Lilith gets her job back.citricsquid said:Should we do the obligatory and speculate? I'll guess they fell short on the money to stock whatever it is pubs stock.
No it shouldn't. My daughter is a supervisor there.Mrmat said:Gutted, spoons should be avoided like the plague.
