Hi All,

Hope you are well.

Is the anyone on the forum who would be interested in playing the violin or something similar as background music at my restaurant at weekends, say between 7-9pm? Just to give that special touch to the diners.

From the outset I have always said I am not a lover of live music, however some of the diners have suggested live, gentle music would go down well, in the dining area.

I am quite happy to pay an agreed hourly rate etc.

If there are any suggestions or ideas, which will help me make this business a success, please advise me.

Ashley
Ashley,

I popped into the Castle Tavern the other day for a drink and thought it was very nice inside, only stayed for a drink but was non the less impressed. Good improvements all round. With regards to your interest in back ground music for your diners, i can offer to play classical guitar at a relatively high standard to add ambience for a relaxed dining atmosphere. I can do this on a casual basis week nights and/or weekends.

If you are interested please call:

Alex Harris on 07701065156.

Cheers, Alex.

Haha yeah I asked them to change the CD the last time I was in there, I'm buggered if I'm listening to utter crap when paying a premium to eat endangered species

A few posts under my belt
Went to Castle Tavern for Xmas Day dinner. £50 a head. Quite disappointed with it compared with normal although we had heard the normal chef has left. Expected something a lot nicer than what we got, not very organised and some of the meal choices ( which I add had been pre ordered) weren't as on the initial menu, looked like some improvisation had gone on.
Disappointing meal for the money and now wander what it will be like for the future if the chef has gone as you have to know how to cook a steak and he did! If anyone goes let us know! Thanks!
