Every morning the circular raised bed in the garden has been dug up all over, shat in and left in a mess. it is soft soil and newly panted bulbs have been upended, Went to Wolsey Bridge garden center and bought some cat repellent in a tube. Left it in the car overnight and jeeez. bloody stink.
repelled me and the wife for sure. Spread a load of it on the flower bed and now the whole garden stinks, but if it works its worth it !!
They will now have to shit somewhere else before resuming their daily little bird killing programme !!i
Not against cats, just the ones that shit in my flower bed. Oh and kill birds of course.. Just saying..

I casually mentioned the faint possibility that there might not always be a regular daily fire in the not-too-distant future.
So, she has cleared a snoozing area in a window which gets the Sun until 1pm and from which the activities of her staff at the main base can be monitored.

I note that she has cleared out a couple of old benches stored outside. This has enabled them to be repurposed as a security facility.
In less clement weather, there is a covered sentry box available.
And, in better weather, the roof area can be used as an elevated watchtower, making it difficult for any personnel to pass by without being challenged.

It is going to be a long time till we have another pet in this home. 6yrs 9 months and a couple of weeks till I retire to be exact. Due to the youngest and myself both working nights. It just wouldn't be fair to any animal being alone for so long - 12 hours working and at least another 9 sleeping both of us.
We have been looking online at both Cats and Dogs, youngest has now fallen in love with a White Shepherd, can't say I blame him, they are gorgeous. That or a Pyrenean Mountain Dog. Along with 2 black kittens we will be sorted.
I don't want to wish my life away, God knows I've been alive now more than the time I have left. But I can't wait.
