If I had billions of pounds I'd get all 3 and turn them into a flexible events space / café / bar / hotel complex (not that I walk past them every day and I've given this some thought)

And a lot of people (myself included) are not idiots but don't understand where one organisations umbrella stops and another starts.... :)

True, sorry - didn't mean to offend but I see the BC get blamed for a lot of stuff that's just out of their hands.

I'd be surprised if the hall wasn't listed. Although the cloisters went I think when Tesco came, and they were a lovely part of it.
Nah, the cloisters are on the other side of he school from the hall. Tesco was built on the old cricket pitch & the railway club & yards.
The land would be ideal for a Morrisons, it's jut what that area needs to be early feck up the traffic flow in Town.

Trapeze played there
Quite right. There were a few acts on there for a short period in the early seventies. I'd forgotten about them, it was very strange getting pissed in what was the old school.
Stafford education establishments had more than the end of term discos back in the day.

The building has a restrictive covenant which only allows it to be used for educational purposes. I would not have thought flogging it to one of their mates and putting the 'proceeds' to education will get round that. Easier to just ignore the covenant in the way they ignore building listings.

Another grade listed building that is continuing the nice graffiti trend in Stafford, that both councils purposely ignore.

Sealed bids eh, wonder if they have a mate lined up.
Already a done deal, almost certainly.

And not necessarily to the highest bidder.

Wonder how they will make the listing and the covenant disappear, as they inevitably will.
