Santa gave me an extra Christmas present.... I've tested posative for covid today.

Tim's opening his Butlers Bell from 11am to 3pm today for anyone on their own this Christmas Day.

Can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be if I were spending Christmas day alone.

The Bellend is depressing enough on any other day but to spend time there on Christmas Day would be even worse.

I suppose you wouldn't have to wait too long for your microwaved Turkey with all the pinged trimmings though.

@Thehooperman & @Lucy Thank you both. I feel like death warmed up, cough, sore throat, banging headache, painfill chest & back from the coughing, and a dodgy tum.

luckily both thecarer & minime are off work for a few days, so here to help. Thanks for the offers though

Had a lovely Christmas dinner prepared by Terry and the crew at the Bird today.

Bee made it there for the first time since last Christmas and they all made a big fuss of her.

She had a treat from Beck's for starters, this from Terry for main course and a large bone shaped biscuit for pudding from Emma.

She also managed to spill the contents of her water bowl over the seat so I'm just hoping they believe it and don't think that I'd had an accident

No, I understand they they weren't doing food yesterday. The overworked microwaves deserve a rest one day each year.
