Absolutely miss red. I couldn't agree more about boredom being the cause of un-necessary roaming and vandalism. If only there were some youth clubs still, but like you say those days are unfortunately gone. Such a shame.

I've recently moved from Newland Avenue, right next to Sir Graham Balfour for those not familiar with the area.

Directly opposite my house was a youth centre which ran youth nights a couple of times a week. Apart from the expected noise from the football pitch (which wasn't an issue at all for us) it was a very quiet and apparently trouble free event. There was never a shortage of attendees, either.

They're not all gone and at least one of them appears to be a great part of the community. I agree that more of them would be useful for sure though.

Just had a pair of coppers with a hand-held speed trap at the Fonthill Road / Sandon Road junction for a couple of hours - they seemed to get a few customers..

Unmarked grey Seat has just lit up and pulled a U at Halfords lights - thought it was after me for a second - phew..!!

A marked car had pulled a Vauxhall in front of the Convent around four o'clock todayand they were sticking a 'Seized by Police' notice on it..
