Apparently they are doing 80 more vaccinations an hour for the 2nd jabs, up at the showground , than they did for the 1st ones.
Recovery time inside is now only 10 minutes (and 5 minutes in car) so it frees up more chairs in the recovery area as they are getting people through quicker.
I only had to wait 10 minutes as I wasn't driving.

They were getting through at a fast pace, I had a text message at 9.38am this morning asking me to contact them, and had been & had it done by 11am.....im sure they know when my days off work are....

We set off super early incase of traffic or breakdowns, so that he could jump out and leg it up there in time if needed. He was expecting to have to wait til his time , but said no queues at all and we were back home before his appointment time.

Hoping mine all goes as smoothly again tomorrow...

Just noticed my vaccine shows up in my NHS patient access app
I've just signed up with this. Apparently I have to have a sign up letter to allow me access to the full monty. Rang the doctors as it says to in order to arrange this. I have to do it in person at the surgery they say. Fine, I'll pop in. No. We aren't accepting face to face at reception, BECAUSE OF FECKING COVID.

So basically I'm fecked.

If this affects my ability in due course to have a Covid Passport, they're going to find me banging on their door whether they like it or not.

Bunch of lazy, arrogant, useless tossers.

I have just got the NHS app which has my vaccination record on it, not the patient access one and didn't need to talk to my surgery at all.

I have that but I get hardly any info on it so I wanted to get that sorted as well but no, apparently I can't until they decide they feel able to see patients again, whenever that will be.

Just tried to get the NHS app on my phone. Security is very important but this is just taking the piss. Having jumped through hoops they want me to either send them photo id or provided details of "patient access" that I can't find anywhere. They've had just about everything except my inside leg measurement. App deleted.

After reading today that the Covid passport is going to be via the NHS App, thought I'd better try to download it again after a failed attempt a few weeks ago.......
So tried downloading the NHS App on my phone again , but keeps saying I've got to get rid of other apps as got no storage space.( I've hardly got any apps on, and wasn't going to get rid of Whattsapp which I use a lot and it wanted me to get to zap off to make space )

So...I got my spare emergency cheapo PAYG phone and downloaded the NHS App on that this afternoon. Then came to identity verification. Camera wasn't good enough to get clear photo of passport page for millions of attempts. Then eventually managed it to accept the photo , on to the bit where it had to scan my face to see if it matched. Took millions of attempts with repeated 'Your facial scan doesn't match your photo'

Only other alternative was to get 3 different reference numbers from my GP online log in thingy , that shows all my records , make appointments and order repeat prescriptions on . (Well, I presume it's that) I've only got the one log-in reference , and not all the doctors reference numbers. Can't see them being pleased with me ringing and asking for them , couldn't even get through earlier as engaged all the time so gave up.

Eventually seemed to accept my latest facial scan as matching the passport. YAY.... Now says to wait for 2+ hours to get confirmation that I really am who I say I am.

Took me 5 hours tearing my hair out trying to do it. If it hasn't worked now , I just won't have to go away , or visit anywhere which needs a covid passport , ever again !!

Hubbys old phone doesn't even support the NHS app , as well as not being able to get the NHS-Covid 19 app . He's relying on us using my phone when we go out....

What make and model is your phone? How big is your SD card in it?

Alcatel 3 L (worst phone ever bought, brand new one faulty after a month and replaced with reconditioned one which is also faulty ) Not sure it's got a SD card in ,I daren't open it up incase it doesn't work again. Just says 16 GB internal storage on the write up on it. Googling it the SD card goes in same slot as sim card???

Contract is up soon , so son says he'll go with me to get a decent Iphone , so that I don't get fobbed off with something they are trying to get rid of again. (Then he'll be the one tearing his hair out having to teach me how to use it , I've always had an android. )

Once I can get him on the case of the NHS App he'll do it in seconds . Just got to wait for his next day off and when he's free to sort me out.

Still not had that email from NHS App confirming whether my information has been checked and passes their tests or not. :hmm:
