Oh. Well, I don't spose there's any way of telling now.

(probably me getting mixed up after hearing on TV ' if you have a bad reaction to the jab, it's cos you were more likely to have to go to hospital if you caught the actual virus).

    I’m absolutely sickened by this.
I couldn’t care less about the affair, it’s the sheer hypocrisy of his behaviour. Those photos were taken on May 6th when social distancing was still in play.

Forbidding us to hug our loved ones, telling us to keep a distance from anyone not in our bubble, which the majority of us did because “we were all in it together.” I couldn’t hug a dear friend even though we both knew he was dying and there is Matt Hancock bonking away for Britain.

He’d even slated Neil Ferguson for the very same behaviour saying “Social distancing is there for a reason, it applies to all of us, Neil Ferguson has to resign”

So why isn’t he resigning then?

And don’t get me started on the 2500 football UEFA officials being allowed to enter the country without social distancing.

I personally don’t think that they can dictate to us on anything anymore. People will just start to do as they please now.

They have to be using this to bury something. The government have leaked the picture.

I believe that someone who worked for the Government in that department sold the story to The Sun newspaper.

I think they may have noticed by now that they don't have to fear any revelation.

It smells more like internal manoeuvring to me.

A good no nonsense war with Russia has to be good for diverting attention from misdoings. I can just hear some government minister in the cabinet saying: "We could be in the shit here , .... let's send a gunboat !!!"

Not so far fetched ... it worked for Thatcher ...

Anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers out in force in London again today.

I don't know if anyone saw a documentary in January (I think) called "Hospital" where they covered a London Covid ward, but a friend works there and she's mentioned how much of a slap in the face it is having seen what healthcare workers have been through and how much PTSD there is, to then see these morons out en masse downplaying the seriousness of the virus.

Don't suppose she has any patients she can send out to join the march?

Have these pointless anti everything gatherings ever been proved to have a negative impact on Covid rates?

Where I am in London at the moment, Syon Park, there are a lot of people, but remarkably few dickheads have been observed throughout the day.

So we finally find out what it takes to get rid of Hancock. Not giving away billions to mates (who will no doubt now give him a job), but banging his aide whilst telling us we can't hug.

    Yay.

I'm sure they'll appoint someone even more competent...

There are antibody tests available, though the fact that you have been vaccinated may muddy the waters.

I did one last October as part of a trial, and it looks for an N(ucleotide) response as well as an S(pike) one, so it might be worth looking into further - unless i have misunderstood things completely, an N response would suggest exposure to the virus rather than the vaccine.

You'd probably have to pay for it, and you'd probably end up getting scammed if you tried, but i think it's possible.

I asked a friend who works as a phlebotomist about getting an antibody test earlier this year to see if I'd had the virus, she told me I'd have to get it before I had the vaccine otherwise it would pick up the antibodies from that and there'd be no way of telling.

Also they may not detect antibodies even if you have had COVID or the vaccine. The wife and I give bloods once a month as part of a national survey. Just by pure chance we gave a sample a few hours before the wife’s second jab. The result was negative. She had given a positive sample 4 weeks previous

Must admit, I'm having one of those days where I'm just so sick of not being able to do anything.

There are things I'd be willing to do at a risk to myself, as I'm relatively young and have had one jab, but I just don't want to risk bringing it back to my household, who are more vulnerable than me. I've been watching a few vlogs from Download last weekend and oh to be at a gig again.

Surely they would of had both jabs by now. So all being well would be considered low risk. The members of my household at risk have been double jabbed for quite a while now and have now gone back to as close to pre Pandemic as possible whilst remaining within the law. Now looking forward to final restrictions lifting and no more requirements to ware masks and keep space. Although knowing how disgusting some people can be maybe keeping some space between myself and others won't be a bad thing. Decisions we need to take this autumn is do the members of the household who don't get the free flu jab pay for one, as this coming flu season is expected to be a bad one.
