So let me get this straight...

Last week 10 Downing Street was so big that Boris Johnson couldn't possibly know if a lockdown-breaking party was happening under his own roof and this week 10 Downing Street is so small that it was physically impossible for Boris Johnson's wife and child to not be at the meeting-that-definitely-was-not-a-party?

If nothing else (and there really is *nothing* else), you have to admire the sheer brass balls on this government.

They know that there is nothing we can do til election time, so the mask has well and truly slipped. 6 months before election the papers will tell us Starmer eats babies and the gullible will vote the current lot back in again, probably blaming Corbyn.

There was a time when they would pretend to 'apologise unreservedly' when they were caught.

They don't even bother with that now.

There are few forces stronger than the loyalty of a Tory voter.

I have an old friend on FB, he runs several entertainment venues, and he's complaining about the lack of support he is being offered during this time. I pointed out he voted for a disaster capitalist so shouldn't expect socialist policies, but apparently he had to because Corbyn was unelectable and now it's Starmer's fault for not being good enough opposition. So he got what he voted for, and it's everyone else's fault.

And this will always be the case 'well them lot aren't doing any better' as if they actually make the rules...

It’s kind of horrifying that we have absolutely no mechanism for removing a rogue government…

Getting boostered today!

Keeping my fingers crossed it goes easy on me as I have a LOT of work to get done before Christmas...
How were you off the other jabs? First two hit me hard but booster not so much, although I had a baby to care for so couldn't be ill!

Sore arm and a bit of nausea for the evening, didn't hit me too bad with either shot of Pfizer. My parents didn't have any reaction at all to any of the 3 shots, also Pfizer. So hopefully I'll get Pfizer again and will be fine!
