So let's get this straight -
There's an inquiry costing hundreds of millions.
People that were in charge are picking each other apart because what a lot of what was said, to control the country, was conflicting.
Lots of admission and evidence that they acted differently to the public.
Lots of evidence that we didn't really have to lock ourselves away, stand in stupid queues everywhere and kill pensioners!

Yet people on here, and beyond, still want to "tear a new one" for anybody who doesn't conform to what supposedly is a one way approach to tackling what they've been sold?
I'm glad I never got wound up by being called names, like some did over somebody thinking differently. My thoughts and actions have never harmed anybody and I helped many people over the last few years, so carry on ridiculing,I'm not bothered. When it comes round again I won't be pandering to the WHO bull you all buy into!

Pretty sure most people on here always thought the government were twats, but followed the available science. I'd be willing to bet not a single poster in this thread followed what Boris said to do 100%, but if someone's willing to pay me 80% salary to stop going to work but also the pub I'm game. Hell, I'd do it again now!

Well that article is a gross exaggeration of the current situation. However if it does get worse will the Government put a ban on travellers from China in place in time? Unlikely.

Looking around today as I was shopping it's like Covid has gone away . All the sanitising stations in the shops have gone, no giving anyone the slightest bit of space, and the most unhygienic practices everywhere.

It's still killing folks , so take care out there! Learnt today that the results of my neighbours autopsy was definitely covid that was the cause of death. ( In her 60's , walking around healthily a couple of weeks before , caught covid , went into hospital after it with breathing difficulties and died soon after)

I don't shop in peak hours anymore, I go when there's less people. I don't care so much about the cleaning stations etc. but I wish people wouldn't invade personal space so much. And thats not even a covid thing, I'm just starting to hate people and wish they'd stay at arms length, I actually miss the covid days as far as shopping is concerned!

I still enter Sainburys through the doors on the right, as in Covid days, hate it when someone gets too close anywhere, had a woman reach across me to get something a couple of days ago, a simple excuse me would have done the trick.
Working in Mental Health has opened my eyes a bit too. A lot of patients don't believe the virus exists, and when they get it, they aren't as badly affected as the majority of us, that could be down to the cocktail of medications a lot are on.
I'm terrified of catching it again.

I walked into town at what's normally a quiet time today. Forgot the Christmas Market with 200+ stalls was starting today for the weekend. Place was rammed with people coughing and sneezing in other people's faces as they pushed their way through to get to where they wanted. I made my way as safely as I could to the few shops I'd planned then got out of there and walked home. ( free bus with my bus pass was tempting , as it's a 3 mile uphill all the way home , but while I can do it a full bus is best avoided to reduce the risk . Windows were open on the bus at one time , but now they're all shut )

Its really very surprising that in the broad cross section of people they have this man. GB News has always had a balanced science approach to vaccinations that makes me wonder how they let this man slip through the net.

For every wrong-headed fecktard willing to shill themselves on GBeebies, there are Millions of people who are actually now dead, and Tens of Thousands more that are debilitated by infection of a novel virus that they could not have been prepared for.
