Desirable changes to the new forum...

Personally I prefer it on the right as I am interested in the forum postings not what is on the sidebar which gets in the way on the left. Indeed if it was possible for forumites to arrange the page they see to suit themselves then I would switch off the sidebar most of the time

Don't like it on the left. Gets in the way of the forum postings.

Everything doesn't have to be like Facebook. They aren't exactly known for their brilliant website.

Fair enough; I've changed the sidebar and the font back. I am hoping to completely redesign the site soon, with a less 'busy' style that is more compatible to mobile devices, so I guess I will wait until that is ready rather than tinkering with the existing style.

I made quite a few little changes yesterday, and I may have forgotten to change some of them back in undoing the above, so if you notice anything that isn't as it should be, please let me know.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Thanks for restoring the original font and preserving my eyesight! Fonts are quite an individual thing. When you do the next redesign, would it be possible for users to specify their own default fonts?

Err, did I miss something? On a mobile you just zoom to the area you care about, I hadn't noticed a change!

Yes, that will definitely be an option, as I personally much prefer the Georgia style of font and want it to be the Forum default, but I will leave an option for sans serif fonts for those who want them.

I am being offered a Belstaff jacket in the forum ad

What the ad doesn't tell me is that Mr Belovitch founded the company in Staffordshire

It now has a store in Bond Street

Sadly the business is now based in Italy

I had a friend who worked at Belstaff in Tunley Street Stone. Many many moons ago tho.

Where would you rather buy the jacket - Rome or Chells?
