Do we have any YouTubers in Stafford?

Howdy, I'm enjoying making YouTube videos and wondered if there are any other YouTubers in Stafford who might want to conflab about things like video titles and thumbnails?

Cheers!

I'm not going to name his channel for privacy reasons, but my nephew went viral on YouTube when he was about 14. He ended up earning enough money that he was allowed to leave school a year early and, in the 2 years since he has been legally able to drive, he has owned about 6 new sports cars. I don't know if it is true but he claims to earn more than £10k a week on his Instagram now, though he has channeled his YouTube success into other avenues to get there (think he does a lot of stuff with crypto and other avenues of entrepreneurship). Even if that figure is exaggerated, I'm positive he makes as much in a few months as I have in 12 years of self-employment. 😂

It is *insane*.

Ohhhhkay, I know Callum, but didn't know I knew this Callum 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Callum went to school with my older kids.

I know another too, but now lives in China!

I left a comment on one of his videos saying he must be in the midlands. I guessed at West Brom because he sounds a bit like Frank Skinner. But he said he was from Staffordshire. So I looked him up on LinkedIn and saw he had gone to Cannock College and was in Stafford. Then the next video he did he was on about people from some of the projects he was critiquing viewing his LinkedIn and brought up his page and there was my name and photo on the screen lol.

Brilliant, thanks for the info!

Haha you're right, Callum's voice does remind me of Frank Skinner! Love his presenting style.

That's awesome about your nephew!

Found out today that my sister told my nephew (now 20) that he had to get his own place if he wanted to continue putting videos online because she's been getting anonymous messages from people who don't like him with screenshots of her name and every address she's lived at. Part of the problem is that people are constantly pretending to be him with fake accounts (I've even had a few message me, unaware I'm his uncle!) and then scamming people out of money so if you go on on his videos you see lots of comments from people who lost hundreds or thousands and think it was him, meaning he gets targeted a lot of online "vigilantes" and trolls. It's madness.

(such messages etc have been reported but nothing ever seems to get done)

That's awfull! And I bet very scary for her and probably you if they realise you're related. People now just have no boundary's. Hope they are both ok

Nick Bundy.
Has a huge following, lives at Burton Manor, and his brother volunteers for us, so only fair to plug.

Ok I'm in, i used to have a cd32, it was fun (but definitely not the cutting edge)

It would have been more popular, they sold out initial stock and because Commodore US was no longer on credit terms with manufacturers a lot of the stock was stuck in Hong Kong. I bought a CD32 a few years ago with a bundle of games, I expect they cost a fair bit more now.
