Ever met anyone famous unexpectedly and in an unusual location!?!

Bob Ferris at Euston Station many many years ago, trousers down on all fours prepared to receive a bottle of Lucozade up the rear. Twas in the days when Lucozade had a cellophane wrapper.....

I may have mentioned this previously......
Is that where Ferris Weal comes from?

Richard Branson on an Air France flight from Paris to London a long time ago, he'd been opening his Virgin record shop on the Champs-Elysses. Had a short conversation with him and he seemed like an okay guy with unfortunately a poor taste in jumpers.

Exchanged pleasantries with Frank Carson when we were stood on an over crowded train at New Street. Changed trains and ended up standing with him again for the short trip to NEC!
True story. The way I tell em!

Chatting to a few of the New Zealand All Blacks in a Dublin hotel lift yonks ago as we went down to breakfast. Didn't realise it was them , just thought I was in the land of the giants as my 5ft 2ins only came up to their waists .

Hubby's got a photo of him in a Manchester bar with several of the Corrie cast on the next table . Unfortunately I wasn't with him , he was there with his works. They're the only people I'd have actually recognised !

(Met lots of famous people whilst staying in the Worcester Whitehouse Hotel over the years and not realised . Been told afterwards by staff that the person I was chatting with in the lift, at breakfast , or in the bar was so & so ....)

Glad we stayed in this weekend , with hubby not feeling well. Might have met up with Simon from Corrie (Alex Bain) while out on the town at night as he was in the pubs and nightclubs here. I HATE the his character in the street , might have got carried away and told 'the little shit' (as I call him) what I thought of him after a skinful . 😂

I saw Georgia Taylor (Toyah from Corrie) at a service station in Uttoxeter last week.

We also regularly see Kevin the Corrie mechanic at a pub in Brooklands.

And a few years ago we saw Les Battersby being an absolute arrogant arsehole in Conwy with the bar staff trying to enforce COVID separation and numbers at each table.

In 1999 I travelled down to Cornwall for the total solar eclipse and I had to change trains at Truro.

My heart sank at the prospects for decent weather for the eclipse when, in the queue for the Falmouth train, I found myself standing next to Michael Fish.

I have a strange tendency to bump into weather forecasters; on one occasion I had lunch with Sarah Wilmshurst, but that one wasn't totally unexpected.

When I used to go to the 'old' Riverside leisure centre sauna with the girls from work, Audrey Roberts quite often was seen in there on her way to her home Sandon way .
