I've decided to start carrying a walking stick, not for personal use you understand but to shove in the spokes of the wheels of next cyclist I nearly get mowed down by whilst walking along the pavement, GET OFF THE ROAD THATS WHAT CYCLE PATHS ARE FOR!!!!! so if you're cycling along the pavement dressed in black with no lights you may want to wear some something comfy and padded to help break your fall.
It is fairly standard practice for pedestrians to wander aimlessly in front of cyclists on cycle paths in a way that they wouldn't do in front of cars.
Cyclist on footpaths are probably those that just feel intimidated off the roads.
About 18 months ago in Wolverhampton a couple of 'lads' buzzed Mrs T and I on the pavement twice. Obviously having a laugh. On the third 'pass' I braced up and took a half step to my right. Down he went like a roll of lino and served the tw*t right.Which is fine as long as they don't intimidate pedestrians
Women going at least 30 down plant crescent as I was on coming, I swerved to avoid her hitting me head on and did my car in on one of those stupid balls in the middle of the road should have just let them hit me.
Stop the local pond-life, of which there appears to be much round there, from charging round in their chavved up crap-mobiles I expect.Well they're some funny things do they a have purpose ?
