A couple of hefty boxes later and we're chuffed to have smashed out a total of 1,610 devices.
This morning's consignment goes to International Centre Restoration of Life in Stoke where your unwanted gadgets are now changing the lives of countless disadvantaged families.

Handy life tip!
Having trouble with a remote control?
Point the TV end of the remote at your phone camera and press any button on the remote.
Your eyes will see nothing, but if your remote is working your phone camera will show a light flickering.

We knew this was coming, and it's created a new licensing expense we now have to account for.
If you can help we welcome sponsorships and one-off donations to mitigate this, and our other rising costs.
It's purely the financial support of the public and kind business owners that allows us to do what we do.

Our volunteer tech guys have now fixed up and rehomed 1,623 of your unwanted and broken internet-ready gadgets since January 2021.
Here's four more lives we (you) have completely changed in just this last week.
Referral cases like these are sad to read for sure, but we're so happy to have your support that allows us to do our bit in healing society.

Doing a tip run?
If you have equipment we can potentially re-use, even if it's broken, you can now drop those to the grey bin in the on-site I.T. container.
If you're unsure, just ask the staff, who are all clued up on our scheme, or look out for our signs.

It's thanks to your ongoing support that we're able to restore these e-waste laptops, and so many others, back to factory condition with a full complement of new batteries and SSD drives to make them as future-proof as possible for the new owners.

There's no other way we'd be able to cover these costs, it's purely through the support of you - the general public - making one-off donations, and kind business owners who pledge monthly, that we can continue to maintain our project.

Yesterday we rehomed another 12 of your unwanted and broken internet-ready gadgets, taking our total up to 1,642 ❤️
They went to digitally disadvantaged individuals through referral from the amazing team at Talking Therapies ❤️
We couldn't do any of this without you all ❤️

Who's this guy?

This is Matt Clifford, an international musical superstar who you've probably never heard of, but you've most definitely heard.
Matt very kindly provided us with the piano and synth backing music for our promo which you can find here:

We are super grateful, and properly starstruck.
