I'm going to Llandudno for 3 nights in December but that's only cos I haven't seen the sea for I don't know how long, plus the Manics are playing and I'm also catching up with some Manics friends from Yorkshire and Brighton.

The rest of the time I shall be paddling, riding the donkeys and eating ice cream

The restaurant at the Harbour at Cemmaes Bay is a good place to recover and warm up if the menu is still as good as last time I stayed there.

No, a proper human body on the beach towards Deganwy.
And I'm NOT going to get drawn into discussing the beer and pubs I've known in Llandudno.

I just had a week in Haverigg in Cumbria. Stayed there a couple of Christmases back and enjoyed it. Not sure if it warranted a second visit but my wife seemed to enjoy it.

My wife, daughter and I were well pleased with the Watermill at Ings, Cumbria when we stayed there a few years ago.

Has anyone booked yet. I've been looking at Sykes cottages for January and since last week lots have become booked

I was looking at The Lakes today for early February and there was plenty available.

Can't book Scilly for a couple of weeks as the campsite isn't taking bookings yet, and need to decide where in the world I want to/can go in May.

Next year we're having a family trip to the Hebrides!

So far it's been a royal nightmare to organise so the usual family faff!!

Three day cruise tomorrow, Southampton, Portland, Dover, Southampton.
Probably crap weather but it's a free jaunt so mustn't complain.
