Just think of the tons of carbon that flight will produce though. Flying should be banned...
Less than eating meat and dairy. I think that should be banned along with fast food and cars. And crappy plastic shite from China. We should have a new thread, things that should be banned as a waste of the world's resources.

I'll start, everything made of polystyrene

Just the week in Paignton for us so far booked, staying in the same apartment as last September.
Hoping for better weather this year though ! Chose the only week it rained for months in that hot dry summer, rained every day until the day we came home.

Would like to go to Portugal again. The last Algarve holiday was cancelled in the early covid days.Son's going over staying near his girlfriends family in Cascais for a fortnight, but when I started showing interest it was "No mum, don't you suddenly appear on the plane 😂

(Not sure if hubby would get insurance to travel abroad as last time it's only LV that would cover us out of all of them , and even that was at a push, being on max meds to get cover at the time. :hmm:)

We have recently booked a hotel not far from here. I had my first holiday abroad in Caleta de Fuste
Came back on Saturday night. A good holiday, hotel was nice and the staff were some of the hardest working people I've come across. What struck me however is the state of some of the Brits out there.... If the obesity doesn't get them first the skin cancer surely will !!

I do my best to avoid other brits when abroad, sad but true. Since brexit I'm sometimes inclined to say I'm Scottish!

Ditto, with a passion. Though they always seem to park next to me on car parks when I'm in a UK registered car. Which is annoying...

Safety in numbers I suppose.
They can be useful. I was trying to find the boarding gate for a Ryanair flight from Prague to Birmingham. I could see no signage anywhere. After wandering about a bit, I spotted a bloke who seemed to know where he was going, and could not be going to anywhere else other than Birmingham. I followed him and eventually found the boarding queue.
