How do people afford houses in this day and age?

I think that estate agency must handle repo's, there's a bargain up my road, if I had the cash I'd buy it...

Someone who couldn't afford a house in a better area I'd guess....

EDIT: Hey shoes, is the ASBO in your street your flatmates ex? ;)
Funny you ask that, I thought exactly the same thing when I looked there!

Some streets can have a poor reputation because of just two or three families

Often people are labelled as scrounging nutters when in fact they are poor or ill, often both. Mental illnesses are can be difficult to understand and prevent basic social skills and the ability to earn a living, particularly troubling in these times of National neglect

The Doxey Arms is now under re construction into bedsits ( i think ) so perhaps an opportunity for lower cost housing there
. No car parking though and your nearest boozer now the Railway...

Well those bad eggs are having another drama today. 2 police cars and a paramedic car and enough F's to make Harvey Keitel blush. All before 10:30am. I feel for the folks a couple of doors up from me trying to sell their house.
