im sure i have actually seen some tv movie where almost the same thing happened...the bloke got shot on stage by his wife when they were both acting in a play.

there was much jiggerpokery involved...and thats all i remember.

To be honest I;m sure this is the plot of an episode of frost or midsommer murders.

There can't be many people left alive / not in prison in Midsommer now...

I do remember one where a chap got stabbed with a knife that was meant to have a spring-loaded retractable blade, but someone had jammed it in place, resulting in a fatal stab wound. Columbo, I think, but I'm not sure.

If there really was a lot of jiggery-pokery going on then it's no wonder his wife shot him. Fair dos, I say!

betty page is dead!

i wasnt going to go to the burlesque night after work tomorrow coz ive got a stall at a fashion fair all day....but i almost feel that i ought to as a bit of tribute.

a truly amazing woman. :(

wow.. i'm not into the whole burlesque thing (they don't make corsets in my size :haw:) but betty page truly was an icon.. i would imagine there will be an article about this in next month's bizarre magazine..

you may not have heard of her, but if you google search her images, you are bound to recognise her.

as bobby says, she was truly an iconic figure.

Cos he's the figurehead of one of (if not the) wealthiest institutions on the planet? Hell, if I had one of the best art collections in the world and a solid gold shitter, I'd do my best to convince people to keep giving me more cash too. Once the game is up they'd have to get real jobs.
