At least.8 years in May .??
I was a little surprised but must admit that I used to prefer the deli across the road while it was open. A lot of Jasper customers seem to come from outside the village tho.why is it always busy with people queuing out of the door
A lot of the hurrah for the global chains people appeared to be ex Jasper customersSome people don't like to take a chance on something and prefer a big soul-less global chain
Well at least they can bake a nice birthday cake8 years in May .??
Choice can only be a good thing whether you like the other establishments or not. I use Jaspers because they won't open the Baswich shop. If they did, I'd use that one.I was a little surprised but must admit that I used to prefer the deli across the road while it was open. Is that the foot long steaming pile of donkey droppings then?Choice can only be a good thing whether you like the other establishments or not. I use Jaspers because they won't open the Baswich shop. If they did, I'd use that one.
Costa I've used a lot, Greggs is meh, Subway is a steaming pile of donkey droppings in my experience.
Toasted or not toasted? Is that the foot long steaming pile of donkey droppings then?
As it never actually opened in the first place, it's hardly likely to reopen, is it.I love jaspers, if the one in Baswich reopened It would cost me a fortune haha
No it didn't. Not as Jaspers. Before Jaspers put there signage up (and then did bugger all else), there was a different bakery there, who's name I forget.Once upon a time it used to be open as me and my work mates used to go there for lunch
Chatwins..?No it didn't. Not as Jaspers. Before Jaspers put there signage up (and then did bugger all else), there was a different bakery there, who's name I forget.
I’m afraid you are wrong there, it was Jaspers. No it didn't. Not as Jaspers. Before Jaspers put there signage up (and then did bugger all else), there was a different bakery there, who's name I forget.
Well bugger me!I’m afraid you are wrong there, it was Jaspers.
Jaspers were open for years and then they closed.
Chatwins then opened for a few years, then closed.
Then Jaspers put a sign up saying they were opening.
Then they haven’t.
I used to work in the bakery (Crumbs bakery owned by Tim ) within Kwiksave for a few years. One of the workers who lived in Penkridge actually left and went to work in Jaspers in Penkridge when Crumbs closed (or rather Tim was kicked out by Somerfields/Co-op as they wanted their own instore bakery crap).I’m afraid you are wrong there, it was Jaspers.
