Enjoying a drop of red.
It's really annoying as it is wasting a shop unit which could be offering something new. I'm really fed up with the dreadful service the co-op provides and they have FOUR stores around the east/south east area of town. Their freezers are about a quarter full, prices are sky high. Try finding a decent veggie pizza in the co-op, non-existent. It was a huge shame the co-op stopped Tesco opening an small store in Weeping Cross. I feel like emailing Tesco and asking them to open a store in the old Vauxhall showroom in Weeping Cross.
It comes to something when Tesco is seen as a better option to something else...

Yeah well ASDA doesn't really do the small store format. The Co-op at Wildwood keeps devoting about a third of the store to clothing which nobody wants. Peacocks closed and so the co-op tried their own range Nutmeg, which lasted a few months, in fact when it closed they still had the "Now Open" signs up in the car park.

My opinion of the Co-op is that its own range products are the price of branded goods at other supermarkets and many of them are pretty dire.

What's going on with this store? It's pretty stupid to have an empty shop which could be being used by some local business to provide service. They can't just be renting it and not using it can they?
