BUT Next Wednesday is a different matter - I will be taking minime for a gliding lesson at Seighford - how exciting (terrifying) is that?!
Tow lift or winch lift? If it's the winch it's pretty awesome. If it's the tow I'd ask if they can change it to winch.

Supposed to be going to a wedding in London tonight until Sunday but Mrs T unwell and not really up to it. Might make a start on my pallet bar weather permitting. Lunch at a friends in Leek on Sunday.

That sounds interesting.

Husband has to work the complete Bank holiday, so no doubt I will spend a fair amount of time moping about and feeling sad & lonely, and the rest of the time looking for something cheap & cheerful to do with minime.

That's a really exciting thing to do! Is it a case of see how the taster lesson goes then possibly continue?

*shuffles of to actually 'read' paperwork*

Winch! Strange, because we see them being towed up from our house. I'm not going to ask why, tell me after, & you @Gramaisc - I already feel slightly sick.....

Hmmm I hadn't thought of that - its surprisingly cheap - Children £20 Adults £30...

If she enjoys it then it might be worth seeing if she can join something like the Officers Training Corp. When I was university in the last century you could join the OTC and get subsidised gliding and flying.

ATC might be a better bet.

She's a member of the GVC Air Cadets, although I'm not sure where the interest in planes has come from , I asked if she was interested in joining the RAF/becomming an Air Hostess etc & she said no, she joined because they go to Telford Snow Dome! 10yr olds!
