There was a fair number of people sharing the clip of the incident and pouring 100% blame on the cop for his reaction and saying the guy on the bike had done noting wrong. No balance, no acknowledgement that the town isn;t currently fit for cyclists to rise through. Jusr damning the police and saying it was all about control.
Both were wrong.

To be clear though, (and I'm a cyclist) anyone on a bike should be challenged given its pedestrianised. That said, signage needs to improve.
