Market Square paving.

I haven't seen where these particular blocks have been laid. All I have seen are @Feed The Goat 's nans old patio coloured blocks circa 1979 and generic paving stones which they are doing now. Both of these look to be of a high standard. What do the white marks signify on the shockingly laid bricks above?
They have the look of pavior bricks that have had letters painted on them after laying, then been lifted and mixed up, making it a difficult task to re-lay them in the correct orientation.

Like these on a railway station platform.

Some of them look a bit like they could make the Stafford/Staffordshire Knot.

You'd at least have put the dark ones back at the edges!
I get the impression that the chaps who deal with the structure of the platform surfaces at that station do not get on with the chaps who do the subsequent stencilling of the platform surface information.

Can't see much done the last week. The guildhall corner and entrance are done. Santander corner still half done. They were working on the central 'road' today presumably so they can then do the boots corner

Anyone, anyone but our MP who is allegedly "working hard".
I've heard a rumour that she's in the family way again.

Really? I'd have thought the problems she had during child birth would have put her right off. There was a piece on Midlands Today a few months back where she was complaining about Maternity services at Royal Stoke. Apparenty she had a grade 3 tear. (look it up, ouch!) She didn't get very sympathetically treated apparently. Felt sorry for her for a few seconds. Just a shame she's been such a rubbish MP.

Most women tear when giving birth, if you're lucky, you'll get an Episiotomy. I had 1 with the eldest, had 6 stitches, tore with the other and had 6 stitches with the 2nd and 2 with the other 2.
Wow woman has a baby, wonder if she knows where the maternity ward is now?
