Make yer own.
I usually would but hubby is in charge of the Christmas buffet. I’m making what I can in advance and everything else is coming out of a packet. Our quiet Christmas now involves feeding 14 people which is fine but I don’t want to spend all day chained to the stove.

Sausage rolls are a Christmas staple, I don’t eat pork and hubby is veggie so it makes no difference to us if they come from the shop. I’ve got another delivery slot booked so I’ll try again in a couple of days🤞

Ffs……well done Tesco 🙄View attachment 13366
Almost the same shopping list as me . I got 2 boxes of those pig in blankets this afternoon in our Tesco as part of the clubcard 3 for £6 deal.
Put a more expensive 3rd snack I fancied through in the deal to make it a better saving , and bought the cheaper 50 sausage rolls after.:D

Dragged hubby along to the retail park just for rugs for the cold kitchen and hall floors. Ended up buying a jumper when I nipped into Next for the loos. Last week went to M& S in his lunch break with him for eggs , we did the same and nipped over to Next to the loos and ended up splashing out on a coat. I can never see anything when I'm purposely looking, but he always seems to spot the perfect things while he's hanging around the shop waiting for me. Seems the answer is to drag him along more , although each time he says "That's your xmas present, that's your birthday present sorted" 😂

FFS! Ordered a Boots click & collect for today for a few additional xmas presents (not available to buy in store with the shop mostly empty shelves , so no way to get them other than click & collect), with message on order confirmation about Royal Mail delays 'saying all of your order will still arrive before or on your expected date'.

Despatched Saturday.

Went to the store today , a delivery has come in today but mine not included in it.

Now in a phone queue to Boots customer , with an automated message 'Due to Royal Mail strikes your order can arrive in store up to 9 days after the expected date' so could arrive after xmas now.

Edit ......just about to give up after ages on a queue and agent answers... just more or less told me "Tough!" When told Boots had said they'd actually had todays delivery , he just said "Well, it all gets sent to the store by various carriers . It might be there before christmas , but will definitely be there by sometime after"

Always trusted Boots , but never again. Looks like santa and his reindeer may be coming with a late delivery this year !

I'm going back round again tomorrow , so you never know 😁 although I might hint to them that Santa normally gets left a can of cider .....

(If there's samples of whisky going hubby will soon be there! )

Not quite used to getting into the dreaded dentist so quickly. With face swelling and something not quite right in my mouth the past couple of days , thought I'd ring expecting them to say couldn't get me in til after christmas. Seeing me tomorrow ...eeek ....
