My neighbour goes to Hill crest, was NHS with them for years, but was knocked off their NHS list because she hadn't been for 'x' amount of time. ( because of covid when she couldn't get appt!)That's a shame, its been recommended to me by 3 people now.
Suggestions anyone? I used to see the lovely Sikh (Im presuming this as he wore a turban) gentleman at Hillcrest, he was a very excellent dentist & the best I've had since Miss Suleman in church Lane went private (also very dishy, so distracting from dental problems), Hillcrest changed hands during covid and I believe he's no longer there.
Please don't suggest that butchers across from the police station, I had a horrible experience there....
She has now had to pay private fees since , told there is a waiting list with them to go back onto NHS ,and quoted £150+ for extraction in addition to consultation fees already paid.
I've been with Mr Goodwin in Friars Terrace for 36+ years since him & Mr Simpson(now retired) started. Lots of new dentists there now which I've had to see for emergencies these last 2 covid years & not impressed! New ones just trying to flog private hygienist checkups & other treatments whilst there.(I paid for one lot which Mr Goodwin later said was waste of time with my teeth.)
