I have decided that sleep is one of the most overated things in the world.
Both my neighbours, either side, must have come to the decision that I, myself, need only 4hours sleep a night to get through the day.
If it isn't doors banging and dogs howling throughout the night, then it's shouting first thing in the morning.

Oh My Gods there are some things a Mother shouldn't hear! I've sent a embarrassed text and am now desperately trying to find something to watch or listen to :lorks::lorks::embarrass:

I have a new friend.

I went to said new friends house for the first time the other day.

To say it is filthy is an understatement.

Shit-tip doesn't even cover it.

I REALLY want to clean it.

Is it rude if I offer to go round and tidy up?

I have just fitted a cymbal stand bracket clamp to a bass drum - rather like this...

1. When did we become friends? Well we are - but you know what I mean.....
2. When did you come to my house without me being there?
3.You can clean this place anytime you want.
4. I have copious amounts of Flash liquid and marigolds :)

Monday mundane fact........it took 90 minutes to travel 5 miles past Walsall on the M6 this morning......standard Monday traffic.

No doubt a Tuesday mundane fact will be the same as Mondays

Already got Tom Sturgess coming in the morning , as the washing machine has been making some right clunking noises since Sunday, but did a wash tonight incase it got condemned........

Bloody thing has just caught fire :o Luckily I came down from tidying upstairs ,to see if it had finished. Pulled the fridge out quick to get to the switch behind them both and now got a tub of baked beans all over the kitchen carpet !

So, that's the front door broke (4 more weeks to climb through the garage to get out) , washing machine.....they say it comes in 3's. Got a plane to catch soon :hmm:

That is totally disgusting....yuk.

Untidy is one thing, but filth has no excuse.

My Mum used to say that a bit of rag, a tin of polish, and some elbow grease cost nowt.

its just lazy.......'"shudders" .....find another friend.

Having gone 'round the houses' somewhat on the website but ultimately drawing something of a blank, does anyone know who the 'line manager' for the County Council Ranger Service is?

Even better, for cc purposes, who the County Councillor with ultimate responsibility for said service is?

I have some serious praise awaiting winging to the right person.

There is a Head Ranger North and a Head Ranger South - https://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/en...ens/VoluntaryWardenServiceApplicationForm.pdf - presumably there is a Head of Head Rangers somewhere, but he is not to be gazed upon by ordinary folk.

David Smith is chariman of the Countryside and Rights of Way Panel, if that is what you're looking for - http://moderngov.staffordshire.gov.uk/mgCommitteeDetails.aspx?ID=129

They don't make it easy....

Just had my washing machine declared well and truly dead-ified. So it's back to the old days with a a sink full of hand washing and wringing by hand for a couple of days until the new one arrives.

Got overnight visitors who have never seen the house before, so although it's normally clean and tidy, been doing a bit of a spring clean to get it sparkling. Being a short- arse means going round balancing on the footstool with a cloth wrapped around the end of whatever will reach to get go the high bits
