Ahhh sadly no it's not Him, Him. The real Him couldn't be as grumpy lol

Just how many ciders had you had? :lorks:

Dunno, I lost count after many , many pints . Can remember getting into a taxi outside Casa, and the driver shaking his head as hubby was struggling to open his door to get out when we reached home

It's what makes Christmas bearable.
The real tragedy of Christmas is that, even though it does its best for us during the rest of the year, even alcohol cannot save us now.

May the force - and particularly the force that is sugar concentrated in chocolate - be with us all.

Well Christmas Eve is here, i'm no further forward than yesterday morning but i'll do my best. I've my parents stopping by and Eldest Spawn and Honorary Spawn and bump coming for a pasta bake dinner.
It is also the penultimate Venom has Vamoosed (our version of Elf on the Shelf). Today we have what looks like a pitched battle. I hope the good guys win.

Merry Crisp Mouse! May your sprouts be plentiful and your pigs in blankets be many or veggie lol I'm contemplating chocolate for breakfast.

Hoping it isn't windy later, just seen the mountain of cardboard outside the full recycling bins being constantly added to earlier as we walked past.

Got a refund for hubbys present that he was determined wasn't going to fit him before he even tried it on!

Surely, it will fit him - after his successful dieting programme?
Don't think his big head is going to shrink much

(Would have fit him if he'd have put it on properly, just wanted to make a point by perching it stooopidly on his head with a "I told you not to buy me clothes :blah:" !" )

Spent today with both my sisters, and I could do a murder. Boxing Day is dads birthday, and every year we go and put flowers on his grave. Again this year I drove to Eccleshall to pick the big un up, then to the youngests to get her. and finally we reach Moddershall churchyard. I drive to fast, I drive too slow, did I want to let the big un drive, cos she's been driving a lot longer than me. I almost stopped the car and kicked her out at 1 point. Flowers sorted, we head back thru Stone, where it's decided we will stop at the pub my neice (big uns daughter) works, oh great fun. Then the youngest gets a phone call off chief dickheadknobstain, he's in the Labour in Yarnfield, why don't we join him.
Ends up me and big un having words in the pub and me telling them both that I ain't going do this shite next year.
I want to go somewhere remote and scream my head off and have a bloody good cry.

Thank you.
Almost popped in say hello, but thought you'd see enough miserable faces, mine would just topple you over the edge :D

You can't choose your family, but you can leave them at the side of the road and ride off laughing like the joker.

There's a dusting here in Walsall, lots of people coming in moaning that it was 2 inches deep and so hard to get here.

I was both disappointed, as I love snow, and glad as I have an actual party to go to tonight :lorks::bananarock:that our snow had gone by 9am.

She does it every year, pulls the '' I AM the eldest'' card everytime. Yesterday, I had been awake since 5am, was in work for 7, yes, I finished early, but didn't stop. Got home, quick change then back out to get the pair of them. And it always ends up in a row. Little un is fed up of being mediator too. Next year i'm going on me own, sod the lot of 'em!
