Shandy?

Sounds like the sort of thing @Gramaisc would drink in the Wild West.

Today I layed some boring vinyl tiles... I bought them in May, but have not been well enough to do anything with them till today.

2 tiles are the wrong way round, but they're under the doormat so no one can see, the carer - who didn't know I'd bought them, thinks they're great. (he would have said 'you're not putting them down, they're cheap and nasty') which is why I waited till he was out to fit them.

It may sound really small and not much to have done, I had to rest between every few tiles (my backs still painful, and I'm still breathless & wheezy) .... But it's been a massive achievement for me.... Nearly 90% back to normal, roll on 100%.....

Does anyone on here do Pilates? Some of my Physio / back exercises are Pilates based, can anyone recommend a YouTuber/Facebooker or Other that has a decent range of Pilates excersises? Back exercises and other general stretching and mobility will be great.

Well I was going to sort out my wardrobe today, but there's, a giant bright green grasshopper on the ceiling.... And no one suitable available to catch it.

My neighbour had one on her back as I was talking to her , and I had my window cleaning towel in my hand when I spotted it.
Whacked her harder than intended with the towel , gave her more of a fright than the grasshopper  .

I did too much yesterday, and have suffered for it today.

Thought I'd have a nice long hot bath mid afternoon after I'd done all my jobs, to relieve the aches.... Disturbed by a giant wasp that flew through the window and persistently tried to land on me....

End of hot bath and relaxation.

Just priced a weeks holiday for our 40th anniversary next July , in a Bournemouth hotel featured on the TV news today ...double room for 2 & breakfast £6993.00 for a week ...:lorks: Not even one of the more expensive rooms for that either !

Hopefully our cottage owner in Poole doesn't sell up , looks like we will be going back there instead at around £500 a week

I was a bit miffed as I work for the Scottish government therefore I don't get a bank holiday today, whereas the husband works for an English company so has the whole day free!

However we found out this morning that a sewage pipe in our garden has burst....

Sadly I could not help said husband as I have work all day!

Such a shame....
