I got blocked on FB because someone said they could be a child rapist, and I pointed out he might be too. Apparently only brown asylum seekers can be child rapists, Ukranians are fine.

I feel the need to add the person in question wasn't a Ukrainian! But had argued that they are fine to come over because they're having a real war, and wars in brown people countries are all apparently not real just disagreements

After a tik-tok video I've seen today by the amazing actress/human being, Blake Lively, this whole 'pointing at immigrants' as the major danger is a big cover. If anything, their import is an asset to the really dark parts of our society!

Look over there, not over here! Divide and conquer is one of the oldest control methods known, and still one of the easiest to implement. The idea that someone in a dinghy today is the reason your life has been shit for a decade is hysterical. As is the "why don't we look after our homeless veterans first" lot, OK dave you didn't give a feck about them til there were brown people incoming so maybe STFU.
It's not like it's binary, it's not we have the choice to do one or the other but never both, the fact we can't be bothered to look into the billions in dodgy covid loans proves money isn't really an issue. But stick an immigrant front and center, make sure they're seen (can't work, stuck in limbo for 18 months, placed somewhere very visible) then point and say see that guy there? He's why your life is crap!

Also everyone seems to gloss over the fact that once the paperwork is processed 3/4 of them are immediately told they can stay, thats at the very first stage. Which means they are no longer asylum seekers, they have a legitimate claim to be here and are now immigrants. Which begs the question why does it take the government 18 months to check if there are child rapists in amongst them? Shouldn't they do this sooner, like every other country in the world? Why can they not be bothered?
Could it, perhaps, be that they hope there are child rapists amongst them because that will fuel hatred and they can hold their hands up and say well we didn't know?

Well I understand there's "a real war" in Sudan that's seeing millions killed or displaced but, never mind skin colour, Sudan hasn't been supplying us with the vast quantities of food and fuel that Ukraine did to maintain our comfortable standard of living.

Yup, there are people we care if they die because we want their stuff, and there are people that have no stuff so we let them die. Yay for capitalism.
EDIT: Although I feel it's more that if Ukraine enters the realm of the new USSR then it's resources are removed from the Wests grasps. And of course Ukraine remembers what happened last time so obviously they'll fight to the death, and everyone else that was under their fist in living memory will help Ukraine and that includes EU/NATO members, and lets face it the war has been great for NATO membership as they now have pretty much the entire Russian Western border.
EDIT2: Can't wait for the rebuild contracts to appear, it'll be like Iraq/Kuwait all over again.

Looking at the data, if we cut our processing time in half to 9 months (still 50% longer than most countries) we could do away with all of our contingency accommodation which is what Stafford is used for. So do the job properly and everyone is happy again, I wonder why the job isn't being done properly?

Cutting to the chase - If you look at who was behind many companies that have made weapons, and then look at companies that have won contracts to re-build nations that those weapons have destroyed, you can also do some more research and somewhere along the lines, you will find a link between Serco and Blackrock!
Look at 100 million being displaced by conflict, politics and environmental disasters and you'll look increasingly stupid to think "they're coming over here for the benefits!"

Says they need a slap to me, but it unfortunately is exactly what they mean. Heard it from several now, Ukrainians are alright but not the brown people basically. Funny really, cos they hated Europeans not that long ago and they were white, but we're back to basic skin colour again.

No accident, they were very clear, and I shall never donate to them again. There's a place over cannock chase way that take donations specifically for the asylum seekers, I'm tempted to use them in future just to balance out the racists I accidentally supported.
