You could say that about a lot of other crimes.

That doesn't say to me that there are no jobs
There are more people unemployed than there are job vacancies.

All of this because a Labour government spent 10 years paying these people off instead of getting tough and telling them it is unacceptable and will not be tollerated.
There have been problems in the making since well before the last Labour government.

I'm distinctly not reassured to hear anything Cameron spouts.
The lack of jobs is caused by our membership of the EU and our job market being flooded with workers from other European countries!

Labour won't do anything about it because they rely on thier votes and the Conservatives won't do anything about it because their mates in industry want the cheap labour so the average British worker (or would be worker) is stuffed!
How British are you?
As British as anyone else on this forum, how about you?

Its nothing to do with immigration. The chosen economic policy of recent governements (back to Thatcher at least) relies on there being a certain level of unemployment.
That is absolute nonsense!

Same number of jobs and more workers equals unemployment, simple!

EU citizens only have the vote in European and local elections. They cannot vote in parliamentary elections, unless they are Irish citizens.

Are 'we' not citizens of the EU?
Most British people seem to prefer to think not, but, of course, I meant non-British EU citizens, other than Irish and, probably Maltese and Cypriot citizens, who may be able to vote in parliamentary elections as a result of Commonwealth citizenship, but I'm not sure of that bit..

No, not simple nor is it nonsense. There are lots of factors. If you disagree then come up with a coherent counter argument.

We could look up to India where millions have taken to the streets to,as yet, protest in relative peace against corruption in government and public office, no German pumps pinched but a Nation against greed and abuse of power

Henrys Cat is correct. We have issues in this country

A lot of people do not want to work because they get more on benefits. Is it benefits are too high or they do not posses the skills that will get them higher paid jobs.

We have a large number of unskilled people in the UK. We also have a lot of skilled people but the middle ground of semi skilled and trades has contracted. I blame labour for pushing the university route and Thatcher for getting rid of apprenticeships.

We also have a large number of people who have never worked. and will never work.

On the otherhand we have shortages for certain skills in engineering, IT, sciences and oddly Indian/Asian chefs.

If you put forward your point of view on unemployment and I disagree with it then I will gladly put my point of view, no need for arguments!

Why on earth should anyone other than British Citizens vote in elections in this country, you don't even have to be British stand for election.

I believe UKIP of all people have a Spanish EMP!

If they're not allowed a say, then perhaps they should pay their taxes where they are democratically represented..
