Anyone hoping to keep their cycling / mountain biking going over the colder months, i've just got back from Aldi and they have loads of bike stuff in, especially winter clothing and some rather funky thinsulate "three finger" gloves. All looked good quality and good value.

Another ride Tuesday - i'm guessing Tuesdays aren't particularly convenient for anybody else but there you are. Or aren't, let me know either way - flexible-ish, time-wise and start-point-wise, as long as we're finished up by about 2. Any takers?

Are Mondays more betterer? I can do Mondays on the whole but not the one tomorrow.

Or Thursdays are a possibility - mostly on the p side of the m for preference but exceptions can be made?

Can't do days in the week unfortunately, got to get out and earn a crust ....

Not very good weather this week :-( I haven't yet achieved my goal but I did do a 60km ride yesterday and I'm aiming for 80km tomorrow but I'm not so sure I want to spend ~4 hours soaking wet.

Anyone interested in doing FTD and/or Monkey at the Chase sometime this week or next? Preferably during the week 'cause it's quieter, but I can do weekends too.

Could do Thursday this, or Tuesday next?

Thursday is good for me, I prefer to ride earlier in the day but I'm available all day so name a time and I'll be there! I ride from Stafford so I can meet anywhere on route, I enter the chase via Milford and ride to Birches Valley.

Nice one.

Have you a route in mind from Milford to Birches Valley?

I'll normally continue on the road towards Shugborough and then enter the chase via the Punch bowl car park (I think that's it's name?), but I'm not sure if there's a more efficient route.
