Well they closed the road into the retail park I think you had to go through the road by Screwfix to gain access.

Always happens when the kids are off, shame they were unsuccessful, the place is a blot on the landscape and needs levelling.

Last night, I noticed, on the front of the old Co-op in Gaolgate, a slogan saying something along the lines of :-

Creating a county town to be proud of.

Let's hope that this is the genuine intention...

All I had seen up to that point was giant TV screens with football on and lads trying to out-lad each other.

I can confirm that TKMaxx in Queens is shit. It’s smaller and despite merging into HomeSense has managed to have a smaller homewares offering than the old TK.

Any whispers about what’s going into the old TK Maxx unit? The kids are keen on a Lidl (for the bakery) or a Smyths toys - highly optimistic from them both! I’ve not seen any to let signs go up yet

I've not seen anything on indeed.

To be honest I'd take a ShoeZone / Brantano - finding shoes, especially for a boy that seems to have a new shoe size everytime I check is hard with only limited ranges in Supermarkets / Primark / Sports Direct.
