Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

I responded to your post about bowling.
Only considering "Tenpin" in a large characterless building "strikes" me as being rather narrow minded.

I have though experienced one of those establishments you refer to and reported it to Wolverhampton Trading Standards for selling keg M&B Mild badged as "Traditional Draught".

I merely stated that the pins were already on strings at Tenpin in direct response to a previous post. I have no idea how we got to here but enjoy your day. If I wasn't at work I would be drinking in the midday sun too! :pint:

Every flipping post gets turned into pub chat. There is a special place for that on here.
But if I wanted to be pedantic I could argue that that bowling, whether nine pin or ten, should be in a special bowling place not in a topic about shops opening.

There's nothing I can see on planning or building control portals
I don't think they are splitting the unit more just putting up a part dividing wall

Sorry re:earlier post on tenpin, think I was typing and walking!

What I meant was there’s a new bowling alley and arcade opening next to the Odeon, so Tenpin is going to have competition much closer to town and could probably do with a spruce up if it’s going to stay viable.

Edit: Oh… wrong thread for negativity. This isn’t the ghost town thread!

Uhhh. Ummm.

That Munch place looks… interesting?

Also, so Chico’s and its cladding wasn’t in keeping with the aesthetic of the road, but the giant grey box up by the Enterprise place is absolutely fine? Are you kidding me?

The new unit isn't that out of place when you consider you've got Greyfriars Business Park, Bristol Street, Shell, MKM etc in the area.
