It's only a matter of time before they all put their prices up, massively. The way things are currently looking it’ll be cheaper to use their 50p per kWh to charge than to charge at home

Is this the junction between the Stone Road and Beaconside? If so I reported it about 18 months ago as well.Thought I’d report the lack of road surface on spitfire island coming off beaconside. Looks like I’m not alone and the fault is awaiting prompt repair…
Dangerous as in there’s no road surface left?It is called redhill the island is about to be completely overhauled so only immediately dangerous defects are being repaired. due to its location, it's unlikely to pose a hazard to pedestrians and vehicles should be traveling at low speed. however, if it gets worse a temporary repair would be carried out.
And in an area of the road where drivers are applying their brakes or need traction to accelerate onto the roundabout.Dangerous as in there’s no road surface left?
The lack of pedestrian crossing facilties on the side of the Shire Horse across to the new housing estate is a dangerous defect, although the defect is more in the heads of the town planners mental faculties in not providing safe pedestrian access across a dual carriageway that divides a massive housing estate and multiple pubs\eateries! It’s okay because they’re doing some roadworks at some random point in the future so they’ll get around to it then. M6 roundabout is the Creswell InterchangeI've always thought that Spitfire Island was the 'new' one, on the motorway link road.
M6 roundabout is the Creswell Interchange
Big A34 roundabout is the Redhill roundabout
not sure if the smaller one between M6 and Redhill is the Spitfire Island as that leads to Mustang Drive , the next one along Mustang Drive may be the Spitfire Island as that one actually has Spitfire Close and the Spitfire premier inn on it. But only a few have official names.
According to Staffordshire County Council Highways, the roundabout between 'Creswell Interchange' and 'Redhill Roundabout' is referred to as 'A34 From M6 Roundabout At Creswell'. I can find no 'name' for the two roundabouts along Mustang Drive.M6 roundabout is the Creswell Interchange

Maybe someone needs to get creative with the spray paint again, like they did last year (well I think it was last year). Is this the junction between the Stone Road and Beaconside? If so I reported it about 18 months ago as well.
Good to see such a fast and efficient repair service, eh?
Never knew this was called Spitfire Island though, is this a new name for this island?
I had exactly the same happen to me as I was carefully reversing out of my parking space at Aldi just up the road and then a black vauxhall (not a Corsa though) turn right straight across me without even indicating as I was heading to the exit. How long has it been a thing where on a retail park, if you're reversing out of a space its standard for everyone else to just not give way and drive on past ? I've just been on Queens RP parked outside the empty units nose in....came to reverse and there was nothing coming my way so inching out, then a Corsa comes up, can see i'm reversing out and just ploughs on, with the driving giving me the finger as he went past (reg FN60WUL btw)....
i could understand it if i had just pulled out in front of someone.... #flogs
In my case I saw the idiot coming and was already 3/4 out of the parking space when they turned into the Aldi car park. They actually accelerated and swerved to get around me.In most cases It is safer to reverse in and drive out as this gives you best visibility to see approaching hazards. In your own admission you failed to see an approaching Corsa. When exiting a space you should be giving way to passing traffic.
Bloody hell Bergerac when did I say that ??. I stated that when I started reversing out there wasn't anything coming my way (or remotely near the car)...by the time I was 3/4s out (and had stopped thanks) there was a car refusing to stop and driving past....In your own admission you failed to see an approaching Corsa.
