For last night I turned the amps down to 90, as I noticed we had a weird drop 30 mins in last time and wondered if the inverter was too warm. We still got the drop so not that, but noticed we only gained 5% less despite having 10% less amps. I guess this is due to inneficiency when running flat out?
Whatever, it's still £22.75 which in this cold is several days gas!

I got points for the 16th November session after about a week, nothing yet for these two. I've been paying in all summer though despite zero bills to avoid any shocks this winter, so have a decent enough cushion for them to take their time. Once I've analysed a full years usage I can adjust my DD accordingly but we're looking like we imported and exported similar amounts. We were away for 10 weeks though in the summer, which reduced our usage by about 6 a day or maybe 500kWh. That said most exports were at 20p and most imports were at 10p so still hoping to break even.

Can you see it on a third party app, like bright or loop? That would tell you if it reaches the DCC, so a meter issue or an octopus issue.

I guess it could also be a slot missing from the previous days that determine your baseline, not just from the session?

Was a very short notice one today, actually just a test to see how fast people are likely to respond but still paid for another 3 days gas at least.

Has anyone took a look at the new eon prices? I don't really want to leave octopus, but eon are offering their best car tariff to people who just have home batteries. This means 6.9p import at night and 16.5p export for solar, making it roughly 2:1 even after all the conversion overheads if like me you effectively bank your summer excess to use as winter import. On this tariff I'd likely end up in credit every year, even after standing charge, despite the fact I don't generate enough in total for my own use over a whole year.
It seems a little too good to be true so I've messaged them to be absolutely sure, the lady I spoke to can't answer til the EV team are back on Monday but agrees everything on the website implies these two options are compatible. It's basically 10% better than Octopus Intelligent Go in both directions and without the need for a specific EV/charger.
