To be specific, that should open at the first unread post, which is generally "what you want".I only ever go in via 'New Posts' and then they do open at the latest ones.
This is also (or should be) where it opens when you click a thread anyway. If you’ve read all the posts in a thread it’ll open at the first pageTo be specific, that should open at the first unread post, which is generally "what you want".
It only happens to me if there are no unread posts in the thread, otherwise it goes to the first unread post.Or does that only happen to me?
Me neither.No change here?
Why has my page turned blue?
Can hardly differentiate the new posts.
Back to normal now.Why has my page turned blue?

We'll be the judge of that.Back to normal now.
Not sure that's a very good idea. Can we improve the 'Ignore' function so that the person you're ignoring can't see your posts either? Or just an outright block button?
.50 cal ? I assume sir knows a good brickie, those rounds are going straight through and onwards to infinityI'm not even sure about an 'ignore' button as I've never used one anywhere on the Internet. I have a tick box in my head for ignoring people and that does the job for me. If someone goes really off the rails, I rely on the Forum Administration to press the 'eject' button, or of course ... take them outback, brick wall, .50 cal .... (well you know the rest. )
Excellent, you can stand someone else on the other side and get a 2 for 1!.50 cal ? I assume sir knows a good brickie, those rounds are going straight through and onwards to infinity
Maybe. But if we get to a situation where we are actively excluding people on here from certain things because we don't like them then I'll certainly opt out of the forum, like I do with other social media.Fair enough but it is a standard feature on most forums and social media platforms, I don't know that the request itself is that contentious.
I think the key thing is not to cross the threads. As an example many years ago I was arguing with Lunar Scorpion on one thread while helping her on another, as long as the threads stay on topic I see no reason to ignore a person.Maybe. It's been said many many times before by others but this place is a bit like a local pub. You get on with most people, avoid some and tolerate others but overall we all rub along nicely together without unnecessary rules and nastiness. Only very rarely does the landlord need to come along and bar somebody and it's a better place for that.
Mind you, if Admin started providing booze and snacks, I wouldn't complain.
