Took a fancy for a curry tonight, but we're round a friend's house and settled in for the night so need a delivery. Thought we'd try out @The Island - Stafford so phoned up and placed an order. Got to the end of the phone call, only to realise they don't deliver just yet!

Rather than disappoint us, the chap I spoke to, Mo, said "Don't worry, we'll get it to you somehow!".

Dead impressed so far. Hopefully the food lives up to the customer service

Thank you for your reveiw, We have started deliveries now, The issue we had was trying to find a reliable delivery driver, all sorted now, I'm glad Mo was there to help. Hope you enjoyed your meal

How would you compare it to Raas Leela ?

I have not visited there yet. I tried Viceroy at Milford which was not as good. Also Viceroy would only take cash as their card machine had ceased to function.

A group of us visited last night and it was pretty quiet. Great that it's bring your own and I think the menu is pretty reasonable and offers some interesting and different dishes.

Service wasn't the fastest considering how many were in but that could be subjective. I didn't mind it, but others in the group thought it was slow. They also didn't have two of the 'Frozen' type desserts you get at all Indians available.

A variety of different dishes ordered and polished off and I would say all were very good but collectively we thought Narvana just pips it with the quality and taste of their food. So plenty of healthy competition here I'd say!

All in all, 7.5 / 10 I'd say

How would you compare it to Raas Leela ?

Really need to go back there but funds are very low after Wales the other week. We spent £85 on a curry for 3 people while there, was alright but not a patch on Raas Leela.
