Went there for the first time ever today, albeit for a drink only on this occasion, early afternoon.

Staff were very friendly, couldn't be more helpful infact especially with our youngest in tow.

Definitely going back there again... me and the good lady were particularly taken by the New Years Eve flyer on the table too...

I think, in my humble opinion, Chambers, P&A, The Sun all deserve a thumbs up in bringing this town out of the "scruffy o'gogharty's 2 red bull & vodkas for £2" we were sold, to much disgrace, over the last ten years.

Let's embrace it. If the chips ain't cut just right or your pie isn't a pie but stew with a puff pastry top- f*ck it!! Eat your tea at home. Enjoy it now. If we don't, these pubs will go and we will have f*ck all else in the town centre of any entertainment worth unless you are 22 or under.

I've been drinking at the Greyhound and the Spittle for the past 7-8 years. I've only just started to go "down town" again. Please don't spoil it for me.

Of course, I'm still in the spittle most of the time and I don't think that will change for some years. A change, however, is as good as a rest. I like to have a pint before tea in the Sun on a Fri or Sat and occassionally I take the wife, who doesn't enjoy the spittle darts and motherspride butties. So for her social life at least, please, please support these pubs.
Thank you Scoot Dog. Something very important you have pointed out. for your support.

Funnily enough the P&A and Greyhound are some of my favourite pubs. The GH is out of bounds when with kids, so thats a rare one, and the Spittal is a bit too far away for me to visit regularily which is a shame. Not really been in the Sun that much, is nice and all but we rarely end up there!

If its a good atmosphere and they serve good cider, I'll come. If its chavs and strongbow you can keep it!

You are evidently unfamiliar with the after taste of Jasmine's body sweat.

Perhaps if you were willing to perform oral on occaision you wouldn't have to ask.
