BTW, not sure if you're aware of this connection since you're coming to it late, but much of the plot of Better Call Saul derives from this throwaway line that Saul delivers in Breaking Bad:

"It wasn't me, it was Ignacio! Lalo didn't send you?"


Amazing to think such a brilliant show spawned from a bit of dialogue that didn't mean anything when it was written!

Binge watching Broadchurch. First time of seeing it.
David Tennant could do with a shave, Olivia Colman - up there with Judi Dench and Julie Walters.

I watched it when it was first on & thought it was ok. ( originating from the area I could sort of identify with it a bit)
I watched the first episode again about a week ago & can’t quite make my mind up whether to carry on or not.
At least most of the accents are more realistic than Vera’s. 😀😀

Also, it's actually Lalo that (better) calls Saul a 'Nobody', and that's why he gets him to grab the bags.

Loved it all - Jimmy was always a good guy, even when he wasn't.

Just watched the There She Goes special, and that's why i'm crying/laughing/crying.

Over the last few days I have sat and watched all of Last Tango in Paradise. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I've only ever seen Derek Jacobi in serious period drama. i Claudius etc. Made a nice change to see him in something a bit light hearted, for once. I've got to find something else watch now. But do I watch Clocking off, which also stars the very nice on the old eyes Philip Glenister, or Happy Valley?
