I'm of the age when the music we listened to was of decent quality, yes he probably used a synthesizer sometimes, so did the Osmonds on Crazy Horses.

You certainly get your money's worth with him.
I saw him at the Poly, with Wild Willie Barrett, in the 70s, around the time of Really Free, and again at the Rangers, around 2005. I got a copy of Cheryl signed by him that night.

Flicking through the mountain of stuff that is on the hard-drive CD player that I bought in a charity shop years ago, I noticed this was on it, so I played it through, for the first time in years, probably the first time this century.
I have it on vinyl, obviously, as it was essentially compulsory at the time.
