Just had an email from the reservation software asking how my meal was, told them the place was closed and they didn't bother letting me know.

Makes you wonder how this place got it's premises licence to serve alcohol. The premises licence also demands a designated premises supervisor, who is someone with a personal licence to serve alcohol to hold that position. Be interesting to see if it does actually attempt to open, and if the local licensing officers and police want to make an inspection. Big penalties for anyone not fully licensed.
By staff or management (this time) ?Furniture being removed as we speak.
By staff or management (this time) ?
I imagine ( that is all ) that he - the alleged con man - 'hired' someone to manage the premises, from an established premises locally ( let's say another building further down the road.... ) which would have assured the authorities . Clearly if this was the case then that person , perhaps she, is now in a horrible position
Sad
