Photo number two could have done with some kinda zoom lens in order to examine the contents of the washing line, not for myself of course.......
I did try to get a bit closer to the line, but the damn helicopter thing kept getting in the way..

To all you lot who loved gossiping about this crash well i am one of the kid that was in that crash i was in the blue vauxhall corsa the went on its roof. I widh you lot could have know how it felt because then u may not have said the things you have. The i was in was a car from a care home you no for children who are in care threw no fault of there own and the man who was driving the careis one of the workers at the car home and he treats me and the boy i was with like one of his own and would never do anything to hurt us or put us in danger. And for all the noisey people on hear we did NOT got threw the red light thank u and we werent goin 90 mph and how u get a stupid thing like that i will never know as we had just come round the roundabout and were headin to the police station as i was the victum of an assult. So all of what you are saying is rumors and it is vile a vicious and you type of people get of at this stuff and it is sick really sick i wouldnt wish what i went threw on anyone but there are times when i wish people like you new how things felt. And for all you infomation the driver got me out and the other boy i was with and the had to be helped out as he had no more strength. But i am suprised you lot aint got pics of the cars on hear but hay if you have am why not more to gossip about to. Get on with your lives and stop spreding rumors me the lads i was with and the drivers are the only ones who really know what happened so but out.

i know what you mean it seems to me that the population of bmw drivers think they own the road but when it comes to corsa's you know its goin to be a little bad boy racer lol
I could start a long rant here about every car and the way you can expect the driver to behave, but that would bore people senseless. I'll shorten down to: Assume that every other driver on the road is either stupid, blind, a maniac, or all three.
To quote Doctor Ninestein: "Expect the unexpected".
Really well i was in that corsa and its a care home car shows how much u no

dont think the corsa was quite doin 90 mph yeh he may have been goin over the limit but dont see that any body could do 90 mph over the asda round about in rush hour and not sure how it managed to flip over but i was amazed that nobody was seriously hurt and the worst thing was that the corsa airbags didnt even come out.
Hi i was in the corsa and we were goin the speed limit and got told yhe air bags didnt go of coz it was hit at the side nd it is care home car sovwe aint aloud past 50 thanks

I was driving a van in the Ardeche, in what seems like a life ago, ridiculously recklessly, and mounted an extremely hard kerb that blew the tire out on a hard bend leading on to a bridge - to this day i live with the what-ifs and wherefores of it all - i'm slow to condemn, quick to understand.

But...

I happened to be walking home and saw some of the clean up after the accident, and took a few photos:

They definitely stretchered a person from the accident and onto the Air Ambulance and then flew off (Northwards, perhaps to North Staffs?).
So I imagine someone was fairly seriously hurt in order for the helicopter to be involved.

That is sick i was in that car nd its a care home care u no for kids in care u shud be ashamed of.your self
If you think that people are not going to be into, and interested in, the things that happen around them regardless of whether they are directly involved, you are much mistaken.

Does that make people sick? Should they be ashamed of themselves?

Yes, well No, well probably not... err what were we talking about?

In the grand scheme of things i think it is probably best to give your account of things first - then rip in with the recriminations.

And sort your spelling out.

And before you get all 'don't put me down coz i dont spel rite' on me, i took a PhD student up on his spelling just this week - ask 'Devi ' if i by'int roight.

Really? As a professional driver who was once in a care home?
(BTW, without checking, is there a photo of the car's number plate somewhere? I can easily check if it really is registered to a care home - mates in the motor trade)

I stand by my quote about assuming that everybody else on the road is an idiot. Anyone who forgets that is, indeed, and idiot themselves.

Learn to drive before you can even comment on matters of the road. But learn to spell first.

1. Welcome to the forum.

2. Can you try and use some structure to your postings if you are going on a rant, its very difficult to read (not picking you up on spelling, but sentences would be nice).

3. Toble's post that you quoted wasn't specific to your incident, it was a general mantra for people to use to keep themselves safe on the road so I thionk you owe him an apology.

4. How is Vex taking a photo of a local news incident sick... its not like its a picture of someone dying on the side of the road, its a car on its roof... again think you owe him an apology but doubt you'll see the sense in that...

5. That is all *awaits the rant at me*

Yeah, and I'm not allowed to go over 70, but that didn't stop me doing 125 one night up the M6 surrounded by police cars.
And they complained that I was going to slow.

Hello Emmy, I think that you might already have responded to that point. It's good to hear that you are all OK after what sounded like a horrible accident - it must have been terrifying to be in either of the cars involved and it is amazing, given the damage, that nobody was seriously hurt. Take a look at some of the other discussions on here - people really aren't as bad as you assume but please, can you try to watch your language a little bit in your posts...? :)

Hi emmy, welcome to Stafford Forum. :)

It is human nature to be interested in unusual events; that's why we have news on TV, newspapers, etc. so don't be offended by anything you have read up until now. It is purely conjecture and people commenting on an interesting event (albeit a tragic one) that happened very close to home!

To everyone else; emmy has already said that she is under the care of others many times, so maybe cut her a little slack. :)

As flossietoo says, we're all good eggs really, so hopefully you will enjoy your stay here and have fun joining in the other discussions.

Glad you're OK!

Thanks. :D

Strange how some witnesses saw people being cut out of a vehicle and others didn't. Just shows how rumours become exaggerated! Glad to hear no-one was killed or seriously injured. So was the corsa doing 90mph as was also witnessed? What caused the impact so powerful that a car ended up on its roof in heavy traffic..?
Hi ill shed some light on it for u as i was in the crash nd in the corsa for everyonea info it is a care home car so it aint aloud to do 90 only 50 but we were at the spead limit and have been told if the bmw werent.goin so fast the maybe he could have had a chance to stop nd he ran the red light thank nd.nk none of us were cut out of the car the dirver pushed.the other boy i was with out of his window as he was just in shock nd then turned to get me out the back after he had he him.self was pulled from the car. I would just like to thank everyone who stoped and helped as we needed it it was a stressful situation as the driver is responsible for me and the other lad and i have epalepcy and mild autism nd the other bot ADHD and the ddiver treats us like his own. I wid appresiate people post what is fact from police or official documents as all of this has caused more unecserry stress on us 3 expecialy the low life who took the pictures l.
