Its great fun, shame its so bloody cloudy all of the time. Was awesome last night though. Went out with clarkey the other night with an app called aDyno to measure car performance / handling / power etc (yup all from the G meters & gps on the handset!) and it gave accurate 0-10, 0-20 etc times up to 60 mph (because that was the speed limit of the road ;) ) and also 1/4 mile times (although skewed by not going over 60 ;) )and most impressively, after putting in some vital info about the care (weight, drag, drive, max rpm and pitch roll) it calculated the car's power output. It even plotted a nice graph of power to bhp / torque over rpm and it was 3bhp under at 2000 rpm (start speed) and 1bhp over at 6500 rpm (redline). Damn good for a free app off the market.

Mobeedo is weird, there is only one 'map' as such, and anyone can edit it from what I can see. I've put the college on, I tried linking to the Pie and Ale house website but it crashes the app :( Still put it in as a POI though.

Updates on a few apps:

Automatic Task Killer is doing the business and the phone runs quick all the time now (although I do reboot it every 3 days or so just to clear out the crap so to speak).

SECuRET Spy Camera is my new toy... basically motion activated stills capture and then e-mailed to you... kind of pointless as a security cam as you would have to leave your phone at home... but still fun to play.

ATrackDog = good for teacking when apps are updated although can also do this through the Market.

Is there an actual app for google docs? Found gDocs, which is a front end, but then goes onto the website to view/edit it.

Just been looking at waze, very interesting idea. Essentially its a traffic monitoring system, but you need to look at it yourself really cos I'm too lazy to type any more.

Just installed ATrackDog mate Good find :up: there's also ATrackDog (SD) I've put on too.

Theoretically all MyApps will be update whether they are on the phone or the SD!

Bah! Compared to my 6500 its a major step up though, and I haven't filled the 3 screens I have, but it'd be nice to have more if only because the android apps can't be 'tidied'. Once you have a few it becomes a ballache to find them all.
