Bus service changes

Guess this is the best place for a bus route question.

What's up with the Cannock/Lichfield bus routes.

I'm somewhat reliably informed that they don't stop or pick up outside the railway station anymore.

Nor do they go past the hospital.

What's up with that?

According to arriva the road outside the station is too congested so buses stopping there were often delayed so removing that stop and rerouting through the center of town helps in that regard of keeping buses on time. They go from outside the college now.

There is a separate bus that goes from town to the hospital I think.

The downside though being that people who want to get to and from the station now can't. They get to walk instead.

We have an hourly evening service up to Parkside once again

And I presume to Burton Manor and Highfields.

And the 101 changes from 21st January so hopefully we can get back from Stone a bit later than 21.00.
