Chindia - Stafford’s first Chinese Indian – gotta see it to believe it!

Tried them recently - starters were amazing - prawn puri and chilli chicken, however mains were disappointing (khushbu was one)- tasted too sour. Went to Narvana a few days later, and quality was absolutely superb. Will maybe give them another chance later in the year.

I've heard really good things about narvarna! might try there next. I'm going through all the curry places. anyone know how the chinese bit is at chindia?

I tried it once, never again. I ordered a singapore fried rice to go with my curry, it was almost like boiled rice with a few rubbery shrimp thrown in. The curry was alright, but if that is what they think Chinese food is like I'd stay well away!

Narvan is always good, but I do think the food tastes better when you eat in as its a bit fresher. I've never had a bad meal from them. I also like Spice Delight for takeaways, but very rarely use anyone else. I tried the one on the common road a few weeks back, but it just wasn't as nice.

saw a notice on their window this weekend stating that they are limiting the number of chinese dishes, if I remember I will take a picture of the notice stating which dishes. Indian selection is uneffected.

had a meal delivered last friday, all ordered Indian and the food was generally very nice.
However, our bill appeared to have been altered, the discount given for delivery of an order over a certain amount was crossed out and a different price, minus the discount, was written in different ink. Was going to ring to complain but had such a good evening I forgot.

Not the first time they have overcharged unfortunately....

I have never eaten there again since they did it to me and gave a very lukewarm response to my complaint.

it did look suspiciously like a deliberate change as appose to an error of calculation.
