It's not the government app, it's a study to try and understand symptoms.I don't think the app would help either me or the medical profession, this was my reply to a friend on fb who said she would use it, but she is able to self isolate, I'm not, so our experiences are very different...

Done.If you download the Zoe Covid19 app you might get offered one. It's the same Imperial College research.

It asks a lot of questions about drugs you may be taking, a lot of which I may be taking, which might be helping to find a vaccine to prevent covid. If it helps then I'm up for it. A tracker for me would be of no use, I'm in contact daily with 100's of people, I shop for elderly family members and 1 neighbour, I probably go out much more now, through necessity, than I did before covid. (because I'm an antisocial person). As opposed to track your movements for later 'research purposes'
I'm on 3 types of those, plus aspirin and one other which it also asks about....The drug thing is interesting, I believe it's trying to work out if some offer resistance. Blood pressure tablets are known to suppress coronavirus' symptoms for example.
That's good to hear as me and hubby are both on them. I'm on 2 lots of blood pressure tablets. The drug thing is interesting, I believe it's trying to work out if some offer resistance. Blood pressure tablets are known to suppress coronavirus' symptoms for example.
This is something that is still little understood - as things stand, even if it turns out to be something of relevance, this particular risk seems to be very much statistically insignificant. In the three-figures within the five-figures magnitude sort of thing.Children are catching & dying from Covid linked Kawasaki Disease, therefore their deaths aren't counted in the Covid figures.
So until the pandemic weakens and the Government is able to change its instruction from 'work from home if you possibly can', parliamentarians should set an example and do just that.

Thankfully they’re having to ditch that one as Apple and Google don’t allow a device to obliterate your battery with background Bluetooth broadcasts. Now they’re looking at the way they’ve been offered (just added in iOS 13.5) of the phone storing all randomly cycling keys you come into contact with and getting told if any of them are infected down the line. Significantly more privacy conscious than the government’s central database approach
I read this (not in the Mirror) this morning...
https://www.mirror.co.uk/science/coronavirus-washing-your-hands-6-22055346
If you weren't washing your hands at least 3+ times (18) this a day before Covid, them what kind of dirty cretin are you? What has this country become that we have to tell people to wash their hands a minimum of 6 times?!
