Imagine if you will a time between...

Saturday the Leader proclaimed his new edict - but it could only be made flesh on Thursday

... so there existed a between time.

There had been a plan that would take effect on the Monday, had not the Saturday edict been announced, and much effort had been expended to make it so. But then the Saturday announcement was made.

Sunday being a day of rest, much digging and scraping, very much this side of working, was done, and resting was there none.

On Monday was there much head scratching - the edict had been proclaimed, but did it supercede the plan, or was the plan still super?

Literally no one knew - should those already dormant remain so?

Or should they rise from their slumber, from Monday through Wednesday, but those normally rota'd on for Thursday and/or Friday just f*ck the week off?

No one knew, nor dared to question, for deep in their hearts lay a pit of despond.

For it echoed back to them as they called out "does no-one know?"

no-one knows

no-one knows

no-one knows

I work in a college, but could work from home easily (I usually do twice a week). Last time I was furloughed, this time I think they expect me in as the college is open. I don't work for a college, my office is just in one.

Just say you're going to exercise? Although lately work and exercise is all I do anyway
Or to get a take-away... too many get out excuses!

Just had a drive down to collect my Click & Collect from the retail park. (Would have made it part of my walk , but too heavy). More cars about than I was expecting , although going by my afternoon walk yesterday should have expected it as there was more traffic about yesterday than I normally see at the same time . I usually find it easier early afternoon to jump into the road to distance myself from other pedestrians and runners.

A cop car was driving off the retail park as I drove on. Was wondering whether they were doing checks down there , or just been for their Costa coffee.

Just booked me and hubby in for a test , as asking for people with no symptoms ...

Son has had to have a test today as he has been feeling rough the last few days , but putting it down to it being a bad cold going around his work. Then finds out last night that one of the people he has been working with has tested positive , so boss wants them all tested. Nice way for him to start his weeks holiday , waiting for a (hopefully) negative result.
