The Showground haven't been doing every day.
Make sure you cancel his appointment you booked online so someone else can use the slot too .
I'm back volunteering this weekend after it's been closed for a few weeks, I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm doing The Kingston Centre.
Even as an introvert I've loved it. I think we've only had one grumpy person during the times I've done.
How come Kingston's been shut for a while? The Showground haven't been doing every day.

Can't be long before I get my next one, I bet they want to do it while olim on holiday again!!!Got a text this morning to contact my GP to book my second jab. I had an appointment for a blood test this morning so whilst at the surgery I asked about booking for my jab.
I was told I could only book it by phone so left the surgery and called them from the car park where the same person I'd just spoken to made the appointment.
Bit silly really but I'm booked in for the 6th now.
Happy to say I've never been looking forward to feeling a bit of a pr#!k as much as this before

My cohort is impending where I am, so I thought I would make an attempt at joining in. Not being a 'resident' seemed likely to cause some bureaucratic issues - I don't have the requisite PRS number, in particular, so I decided to use the phone line, rather than the online system, so discussions could be had about the inconsistencies that would occur. The call was answered so quickly, after the initial automatic preamble that I was caught unawares - we discussed my situation and she filled in the form on her screen - at one point, it seemed a good idea to put the local GP down as where I was registered, even though I wasn't. I promised to ring them to warn them, in case this caused some bureaucratic issue later on.Got a text this morning to contact my GP to book my second jab. Have you had your first jab yet?My cohort is impending where I am, so I thought I would make an attempt at joining in. I rang them the next day - the receptionist answered (rather more than I have come to expect from my Stafford surgery!) - I told her who I was and explained that, for vaccine purposes, we were pretending that I am registered there - "That's OK, I'll tell him and we'll sort out what happens, if anything".
A minute later, the phone rang "I can register you now, if you like?" - "Yeah. OK" - thirty seconds later, I am registered.
I have, in the past, tried to explain to her just how different things are to the east...
Got my second jab on Monday as well. Mind you, I'm not expecting the Bank Holiday crowds to be flooding into Holmcroft, so I think it will be a fairly quiet affair.I'm due my second jab next Monday, again in the Baptist Church in Westward Ho!. Since it's going to be on a Bank Holiday, I'm sort of dreading it. It was quiet in February when I got my first jab, doubt it's going to be very quiet this time.
I've sort of got used to avoiding crowds ... not that I was ever that keen on them anyway.
