Hi guys joint this forum again as I did have someone dealing with all my customer relations and advertising who is no longer at Chindia for complicated reasons. So me the boss decided to take it on my self to get back in touch with the people of Stafford and find out what the gossip is apart from shutting the Chinese down. Which guys I promise I tried my best but never could get it to kick off in the 9 months I had it running. So decided to stick to Indian only and this will help me concentrate on enhancing the quality and also variate the food on offer. So guy's please if there's anything I need to do to improve my service or food let me know and I will do my best to get back to you. Dill

Hi ladies and gentlemen wanted some feed back and if you could get the message around. Is everything ok with the food that we serve I have confident in the food that we serve and I'm a fussy guy when it comes to food and I enjoy it not just saying mean it. I ask this because a lot of my regulars have stop coming don't know if it's down to me shutting the Chinese down. So please if I could get some feed back on it, and what other place to ask than the Stafford forum. I'm just going to stick to Indian what I know best. So come on guys give us another ago you won't be disappointed. Dill

Hi Dill, have you had a look at the thread on here about Chindia? There is some feedback on there.

Thanks Gramaisc. Was thinking just start a new thread as I am only doing Indian food now. Which I hope to make the best Indian takeaway food in town. Wish me all the best guys really got to start getting the name back out there. Was thinking of changing the name to THE INDIAN but a lot of customers prefer this name even though put a stop to Chinese. Admin please do get in touch about advertising on the forum. Dill

Go to 'Pubs and Eating Out', if that's where you want it to be - click on 'Post New Thread' in the top right-hand corner - enter the thread title and the text of the first post - click 'Create Thread'....

I have moved all of your recent posts to this new thread, so they don't get lost in the general "Welcome..." thread. :)

My only criticism was the Indian was a bit salty , so didn't go back and cannot comment on it recently , maybe it's all our fault as we don't like to complain at the time

I've eaten from your place 3 times, and the Indian side was alright. I made the misfortune of trying the Chinese once, and found it very tasteless to say the least. Was a shame, as myself (as with lots of families) usually end up getting both Indian and Chinese food at the same time due to fussy eaters!

Somebody on another thread recently mentioned getting overcharged by the delivery driver, perhaps this is an ongoing issue?

gotta say, i'm impressed that this is why you have signed up and you are so honest about the fact that customers are dropping slightly and you want to find out why.. i hope you get the answers you need and get the business back up to full strength :)

i think dropping the chinese is a good idea - as others have said, it didn't have great reports, but i've heard a lot of positive things about your indian food

stafford has a lot of indian restaurants & takeaways, so to succeed you need some kind of unique selling point.. obviously, yours was the chinese/indian thing, but if that's no longer viable maybe you could think of another angle.. why not offer to have your delivery driver pick up drinks from the off licence on the way when delivering food? i know i would make use of that a lot, and it would probably mean a bit of a tip for your delivery driver (because when you pay him for the food & drink i doubt you'd have the exact money)! hell, you could even strike up a deal with your nearest offie & include their price list with your menus, or something..

i heard of one domino's pizza place increasing their business by offering to pick up mcdonald's for people when they delivered, which i think is a brilliant idea! so if someone places an order with you, but one person doesn't like curry, you could offer to pick up a big mac meal on the way round and charge them a £1 premium (on top of the mcdonald's meal price) for it or something ;)

Hi guy's thanks for your feedback. As for the over charging that driver has gone as we caught on with the problem, and query about salty food was due to my father the original chef at Chindia was taken very ill and had to bring in a temp chef in his spot. We had that problem solved soon after the complaints of a few customers. But now I'm glad to say my father is well and fit and has come back to work which is a relief and customers have realised and the compliments have started again :).

As for the Chinese I shut it due to customer complaints and changing chef numerous times and not being able to find a good chef and costing me to much to run it out my own pocket.

Please don't let these issues put you off from trying us, if anyone ever has a problem I would love it if they just phoned and asked for me and deal with the matter there and then so I know where the problem is and fix it.

We are only a small family run business so we need your support during these tough times. As for doing something different I'm working on something where it would help me as well as customers during these tough times. I offer a lot of online offers as I have set my website up and am no longer with just-eat. Follow Chindia on Facebook the offers are always listed on there and soon hopefully on here as well.

Thank you for your feedback and keep bringing them on buy the forum or calling us on 01785252523. Dill
